NEW DELHI: Congress on Saturday rubbished Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy's allegations, saying the loan given to Associated Journals for promoting ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru is for a political purpose.

New Delhi, Nov 4 : Infosys mentor N.R. Narayana Murthy made a personal contribution of Rs 12 lakh to Arvind Kejriwal's Public Cause Research Foundation in 2010-11. He is among several other corporate donors, Delhi newspaper Mail Today reported.

Kejriwal has said that businessmen should stay out of Parliament. Speaking to CNN-IBN, Kejriwal said, "There are large number of businessmen who are sitting in Parliament and they are also in the same committees which are making the policies on the business that they are in. For instance Mr Vijay Mallya is there in the aviation committee. There is a direct conflict of interest."
