BEIJING: A blast ripped through a restaurant in the southwestern Chinese megacity of Chongqing on Friday, injuring 29 people, two critically, state media reported.
The blast happened at around 3:30 pm (0730 GMT) at the "007" restaurant in the Fengdu County area, a local official said, quoted by the official Xinhua news agency.
Xinhua said the injured were taken to hospital and the cause of the blast was being investigated.
